This evening, I’m giving a special sneak peek of my book! I’ll be showing photographs and talking about my adventures writing Octopus! The Most Mysterious Creature In the Sea at Longmont, Colorado’s PechaKucha Night at the Firehouse Art Center, 7pm.
PechaKucha is a global event, started in Japan 10 years ago. During the event, presenters show 20 images for 20 seconds each, making for a fun and quick talk. The name, in Japanese, is meant to evoke the sound of “chit chat.”
If you’re in the area, swing by and get a little early dose of Octopus! before it officially goes on sale in two weeks! Bonus: my uncle will also be giving a short talk about the history of rum.
